This is “I’m Gonna Make You Happy” performed by Buster Brown March 1943 at Fort Valley State College, Fort Valley, Georgia. Buster was described as “a wizard of a ‘mouth-organ playah,’ who performes the incredible feat of playing and singing at the same time.”

I found this recording at the Library of Congress’s website in their Fort Valley Music Festival collection.

Take a break and enjoy listening to the real deal.

Woke up this morning with a head ache. May be partly allergy related, but I really hate having a headache in the morning. So I took some meds and sat down to read my mail and in it was the best meds of all – a happy song! I can feel the tension moving away already! Thanks for this. It’s soooo amazing. The very quick transitions from voice to harmonica. I couldn’t even get the instrument back into my mouth, let alone in the right place and he’s already play the next part!!! Wow. I’m going to check out the Fort Valley sight. Thanks. Lucy
